Real-time wind speed, direction and gust readings from a calibrated ultrasonic anemometer — essential for spray timing and crop protection decisions.
Channel 02
Weather Data
Temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure and UV index tracked continuously — giving you the full picture of field micro-climate conditions.
Channel 03
Rain Data
Tipping bucket rain gauge with 0.2 mm resolution tracks total rainfall, rain rate and storm duration — so you know exactly when and how much rain has fallen.
How it works
From sky to screen
in four steps
Each station is an IoT weather station first: it sends weather readings to the NuaSense cloud and can also operate as a LoRaWAN gateway for nearby farm sensors.
Solar-powered weather station
The station's solar panel keeps the battery charged indefinitely. Onboard sensors measure wind, temperature, humidity, pressure, UV and rainfall every 15 minutes.
IoT data connection
The station's onboard controller packages readings and forwards them to the NuaSense cloud through its configured IoT connection.
LoRaWAN gateway capability
When deployed as a gateway, the weather station can receive LoRaWAN packets from nearby farm sensors and forward them through the same cloud pipeline.
Dashboard, SMS & API
View live readings and 3-year history on the NuaSense dashboard. Set custom alert thresholds for SMS or WhatsApp notification. Export via API.
